What is a remote desktop connection?

Remote Desktop Connection is taking remote desktop connection with other systems which are located remotely. It is one of the components of Microsoft Windows. RDS is implemented by  Microsoft. It is based on the thin client architecture.

  2. On your Windows, Android, or iOS device: Open the Remote Desktop app which is available for free from Microsoft Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store. Then add the name of the PC that you want to connect to (from Step 1). Select the remote PC name that you added, and then wait for the connection to complete.   1. If you are using windows 10 then go to the taskbar and click on the search box.
  2. There type MSTSC then the above dialogue box will appear.

  7. Click OK.

  10. Then enter your friend Sam`s any desk username into your remote desk field.
